Jesus Christ, CocoRosie takes an Akon song, and reworks it into something completely in the opposite direction, and makes it heartbreaking, and brings you there with them in a sense. An awfully attractive voice that sings you such a fucked up and horrible thing, and still the song as a whole is beautiful - a song that pulls the rug out from under the ‘beauty = good’ fallacy.
