1904 by The Tallest Man on Earth.
New album is set for release on June 12th! It is to be titled There’s No Leaving Now.
Words can’t express my excitement - The Tallest Man on Earth’s music accompanies me daily and a new bunch of songs to fall in love with is like the best kind of present. Can’t wait to see him play this Summer!
still thinking about your hands.
“gently in these ragged folds
curled up and warm like easter’s child
a breath so faint, angelic weight.
i can’t deny
that i drift sometimes
even in these loving moments
to summery fields i call my own
where i can lie and in them feel
at one with my death
with limbs outstretched.”

today i had a 9 hour meeting at work, and tomorrow is the same thing all over again. so i’m having a little wine party with wonderful happy-sounding music provided by fenster!

sink in deep. i mean really deep.
with a bottle of wine and your mind
telling you strings of things you’d rather
be able to ignore,
so that time passes.
forget all the things you planned to do
because reality is substituting to it’s fittings
and that’s fine, it’s fine
it was always about who and not where.
wish when would stop playing it’s hidden ace.
let’s get drunk on cheap white wine and dance stupidly to this song.

despite a 2 hour train delay (germans will agree, deutsche bahn blows) i made it to the deer tick concert on tuesday night in köln. sadly we were almost 2 hours late and missed more than half of the setlist, but we got a great encore of 20 miles miss k and these old shoes. they put on a damn good show (including jon strumming his guitar with his pants off and using his dick) and best of all, we all had drinks together afterwards.
